ELMCIStart a brief
FROM REQUIREMENT TO AGREED SPECIFICATION

How sourcing
works.

ELMCI handles supplier sourcing and day-to-day communication in China, compares price and quality, follows samples and production, and coordinates pre-shipment checks and logistics.

01

Source against your specification.

ELMCI finds suppliers for the product, material and technical requirements in your brief. Existing drawings, artwork and samples provide the reference for comparison.

02

Compare supplier proposals.

ELMCI compares supplier prices and quality against the same requirements and communicates with suppliers about the differences that matter to your order.

03

Agree the sample and specification.

ELMCI arranges samples and coordinates supplier responses to feedback. For distributor orders, the distributor reviews samples with its client. Sample fees, shipping costs and final approval are agreed before the order proceeds.

04

Follow production and pre-shipment checks.

ELMCI follows production with suppliers and coordinates pre-shipment checks within the agreed scope. Findings and corrective work are discussed with the supplier before dispatch; the inspection scope is agreed for the project.

05

Coordinate delivery.

ELMCI coordinates shipping and logistics with the relevant providers. Destination, freight scope, documents and delivery responsibilities are agreed with the order.

WITH MANUFACTURING PARTNERS

From material to agreed sample.

Material, construction and finish belong in the same conversation. Supplier visits add practical context; the specification and agreed sample define what you are ordering.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Checking handle strength before shipment.

During a pre-shipment check, the handles on a packaging order proved too weak for the intended contents. ELMCI worked with the supplier to resolve the issue before dispatch.

For each order, we agree the checks and performance requirements with you in advance.
